I am excited to be hosting a Pampered Chef Party this Friday. If you would like to come, just message me. The more the merrier!

If you are interested in looking at the product catalog online, go to http://www.pamperedchef.biz/chefshyne, select Shop Online and enter KAREN CARTER as the host name. Orders must be completed by January 18th.

If you aren't familiar with Pampered Chef, let me fill you in on some of my favorite products. About seven years ago, I had a party and earned a TON of free items. Now I don't know how I ever lived without most of these things.

Quikut Paring Knives - OK, this is actually my favorite item of all! I bought several and they lasted through five years of heavy use. I use them to cut jalapenos, small tomatoes, celery, shallots, garlic, cold butter, sandwiches, cheddar, brownies, etc. Heck, I've even use them to cut the plastic wrap on cases of water, open sealed bags, to slice through the packing tape on boxes and as a letter opener. This tiny knife is probably the handiest tool in my house.

The stoneware Large Bar Pan is used almost daily at my house. I use it for baking appetizers, cookies, french fries, chicken tenders, pouring caramels, etc. I don't burn things very often anymore and I credit this bar pan for that. It cooks much more evenly than my old metal sheets and the food doesn't stick to it. If you ask me, this is a MUST HAVE item for every kitchen.

How does anyone live without the stoneware 13"x9" Rectangular Baker? This is the BEST lasagna, casserole, roasting pan ever made and it even looks good on the table. This is another MUST HAVE item. It even cleans up in a snap.

I also use the stoneware 9"x9" Square Baker a lot. It's perfect for side dishes, brownies and lemon bars. I have actually dropped mine several times and it has never cracked or chipped. Amazing!

Rice Cooker Plus - My cousin gave me one for Xmas filled with cake mix, a can of frosting, oven mits and a recipe for molten chocolate lava cake that you make in the microwave. This sounded crazy to me, but you know what? It was terrific! It only took me 3 minutes to mix the cake batter right in the cooker then scooped the frosting into the middle of the batter. I cooked it for 8 minutes and cooled it for 5 minutes. That's it! It was delicious too. What could be easier?

Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer - I wouldn't ever bake apple pies if I had to peel, core and slice a big bowl of apples by hand. This cranks out an apple ready for for the pie pan in seconds.

Mini Serving Spatula - is perfect for use with stoneware. I love this small spatula for cookies, crescent rolls, biscuits, chicken tenders and even for lifting bar cookies and brownies out of the pan. It's small enough to keep a couple in the drawer and easy to clean.

Garlic Press - This is a fantastic tool because it is really sturdy and doesn't take a lot of effort to squeeze. It comes with a scraper attachment so you don't need to get stinky garlic fingers, which I hate.

Baker's Roller - This should be called "Crafter's Delight" because in my house it gets used for a lot of things that are not cooking related. I use it to smooth paper projects after gluing, set seed beads into tacky tape, press folds in paper, set rub-ons, etc. The Handy Scraper and the Tool Turn-About are two other items that get used in my craft room more than my kitchen.

The stoneware Fluted Pan has a pretty shape to it. I use it for often because it looks like I worked really hard to make a beautiful bundt cake when in fact, it's just a box cake with some melted frosting or a glaze drizzled over it. That is much easier than frosting a layer cake. I do grease this pan for bets results.

The Cookie Press makes the prettiest little cookies and it's easy enough for the kids to do on their own. It goes right into the dishwasher for easy cleaning too.

Easy Accent Decorator - Easy to use and it makes decorating cakes, cupcakes and cookies a breeze. My kids love to use this tool and it washes up in the dishwasher without any hassle. I prefer it to piping bags.

Nylon Tools - These are super heat resistant so they last forever and don't scratch non-stick cookware.

Egg Slicer Plus - your basic egg slicer but it's such great quality that the wires are strong and still attached after seven years.

Pizza Cutter - mine hasn't needed sharpening in seven years and it's still going strong. Love it!

Mini Whipper - It's slim design makes it perfect for powdered drinks like cocoa or instant breakfast; also great for beating eggs.

Classic Batter Bowl - Simply great for everything. I love that it has a lid too. This is a MUST HAVE item.

Twixit! Clips - I wish I had invented these. Every household needs these and not just in the kitchen.

I have even more items, just too many to list. If you have any questions about a product, just ask. If I can't help you, my consultant can!
